As the founder of Fruits of my Labor Birth Services, I have to tell you that I love supporting families during intimate moments.  I can quickly adapt to my surroundings with an even keel demeanor. I am an educator at heart and also enjoy spending time with my little clients.

I spent over a decade providing prenatal education for women in Private Practice, Perinatology (high-risk pregnancy), and various non-profit organizations.  As a Prenatal Health Educator, I have taught Childbirth Education, Infant safety, Newborn Care, & Breastfeeding. In addition to this practical classroom experience, I helped moms navigate the prenatal care process, provided necessary nutrition assessments and birth control counseling.  In 2015 I decided to expand my birthing knowledge and become an all-around Doula.

In my free time, I enjoy fellowshipping with my church family, going to the beach, and making memories with my family. When I can escape, I take mission trips to other countries to serve the Lord Jesus Christ.

Teresa - Available for Virtual Support Only

Teresa has two decades of experience in providing care for people, ages 0–90 years old. She has experience in infant care, special needs care, and senior care. She is an attentive, caring and compassionate individual who is always striving to provide a relaxed and calm environment for clients. Teresa is a certified Postpartum Doula.

Teresa is a mother of three, one of whom was born prematurely and spent some weeks in the NICU. When she was finally able to bring him home, he had an apnea monitor for some time.  Caring for her son has given her a deep understanding of what it’s like to have a little one even in some of the most challenging times of early parenting and has helped fuel her passion for families getting the support they need right from the beginning.
