A Message From Your Doula
Congrats! You’re having a baby!
This time can be the most exciting and often the most challenging time in your life, but I am here to help. I have been holding spaces for parents for over a decade. I serve families and provide an optimal birth and postpartum experience. My families and friends have told me that I was born to be a nurturer.
If you do what you love, you will never have to work a day in your life. As a Doula, I’ve worked with single parents, families with full support, surrogate families, and adopted babies. Every family is unique, and I feel honored to support them in one of the most intimate and vulnerable time in their lives. I genuinely love what I do: every family I have worked with, and Doula I have mentored has taught me something I treasure.
Postpartum Doula
A Postpartum Doula is a nonmedical professional that can provide support to the entire family during the first few months after the arrival of your baby. Some families enjoy the benefits of having someone help them transition into parenthood with the gentle guidance of a doula that has information on primary newborn care and breastfeeding. Whether it be cooking a meal, doing some light housework, or taking care of the baby so that mom and dad can get comfy for a nap, a postpartum doula is a needed companion that helps you and your family settle into your new life with ease.
Birth Doula
A Birth Doula is a nonmedical professional trained in the art of assisting a mother through labor and birth by providing physical assistance, comfort during labor, education, and emotional support. Childbirth labor is hard work and should be a rewarding experience. Whether you are planning to have a medicated or unmedicated birth, a Birth Doula can help. A Doula does not replace your partner or support person. We help mom and partner/support person have a purposeful birth. All Birth Doula packages include six weeks of Postpartum Doula services.
