Nadine V. Quintero

As the founder of Fruits of my Labor Birth Services, I have to tell you that I love what I do, supporting families during these intimate moments is what I like to do.  I can quickly adapt to my surroundings with an even kill demeanor. I am an educator at heart and also enjoy spending time with my little clients.

I have spent over a decade providing prenatal education for women in Private Practice, Perinatology (high-risk pregnancy), and various non-profit organizations. In 2015 I decided to expand my birthing knowledge. As a Prenatal Health Educator, I have taught Childbirth Education, Infant safety, Newborn Care, & Breastfeeding. In addition to this practical classroom experience, I helped moms navigate the prenatal care process, provided necessary nutrition assessments and birth control counseling.

In my free time, I enjoy fellowshipping with my church family, taking walks on the beach with my poodle “Lulu,” and making memories with my family. When I can escape, I take mission trips to other countries to serve the Lord.

Rosa Carillo

Rosa is a mother of two energetic, amazing boys, and have always loved children from an early age. Being the eldest daughter of five siblings, she naturally became passionate in caring for others.  Her first son was born on her 22nd birthday, its a day they will always cherish together. After cesarean delivery,  she spent a whole month in the NICU due to her son having Hirschsprung's disease. It is a hereditary genetic condition, and it causes a blockage in the intestines. During that month, her son had many tests performed and underwent surgery at ten days old.  Her son is now healthy and thriving.                                  She dove into her passion for helping to support mommies and babies at a non-profit obstetrics clinic in Vallejo. At the clinic, she co-facilitates prenatal classes and performs assessments to make sure the mothers are getting the best care possible.  She also provides resources to women in the underserved urban community. It was there where she met her mentor & good friend Nadine.  Since then, she has felt blessed to be part of the beautiful Doula world.  She is confident that she can provide physical and emotional support, along with advocating, and helping with your parental decisions during these precious moments of life.
